AUSTIN—Weitzman has been named to direct leasing at the high-profile specialty center, The Linc. The approximately 189,000-square-foot center is located at 6406 N. IH-35 at its intersection with Highway 290, in the heart of Austin.
Britt Morrison, Brett Maze and Cameron Longmire with Weitzman are now handling the leasing for The Linc.
The Linc offers a high-visibility location in densely populated Central Austin. The center has evolved into a key restaurant district, with popular Austin-based concepts including Pluckers Wing Bar, Vivo Restaurant, Lima Criolla Peruvian Restaurant, Tio Pepe Chicken, a Portuguese-style grill, and Easy Tiger Bake Shop & Beer Garden.
Other notable tenants include AFS Cinema, an arthouse cinema from Austin Film Society., Wellmed and My Salon Suite
“We’re working with numerous distinctive concepts who want to talk to us about space at The Linc,” said Morrison. “The location offers visibility and access from several key high-traffic thoroughfares and is surrounded by density and strong daytime population.”
The Linc, under the ownership of California-based Misuma Holdings, received a major renovation completed in 2017 that added new signage, visual elements, extensive landscaping and other significant improvements.
The trade area for The Linc features approximately 341,000 people in 129,000 households within a five-mile radius. The daytime population within the radius is more than 516,000.
The Linc also benefits from its position adjacent to the Austin Community College’s ACC Highland Campus. The campus, the college’s largest, serves more than 6,500 students.
