CARROLLTON—A major renovation is now underway at Trinity Plaza, a landmark shopping center opened during the 1970s at N. Josey Lane and SH-190 I President George Bush Expressway.
The center incorporates 59,438 square feet of retail space and features a popular tenant mix that includes Café Brazil, Party City, O’Reilly Auto Parts, Cuba Bella Café, Sabu’s Indian Market & Kitchen, Silk Threads and Clip Cuts.
The renovation is providing the center with a new façade, including several new raised sections for visibility and identification, as well as new landscaping, lighting, parking and LED-lit signature towers. In addition, the center will receive new monument signage.
The architect for the remodel is Hodges & Associates. Asset Manager Joe Lea is directing the renovation on behalf of the center’s ownership. Weitzman’s Kathy Detrick, a vice president of construction, is overseeing construction of the renovation project.
Weitzman’s Matt Luedtke and Byron Howard direct leasing at Trinity Plaza. Weitzman handles property management for the center, and the property manager is Zoe Lopez.
The renovation is slated for completion in the third quarter of 2018.
