IRVING—Since its recent major renovation, landmark shopping center Irving Towne Center has seen a number of new concepts leasing space. The latest includes Pet Supplies Plus, a neighborhood pet store carrying a wide variety of foods, toys and supplies for any pet, which leased 8,000 square feet.
Irving Towne Center, a regional-draw retail center anchored by Target, is located at 3401 W. Airport Freeway (SH-183) and N. Belt Line Road.
Blane O’Banion and Lynn Van Amburgh with Weitzman handled negotiations for the shopping center. The retailer was represented by Beltfort Assets, LLC.
Pet Supplies Plus is the nation’s largest independent pet store with more than 500 locations.
At Irving Towne Center, Pet Supplies Plus joins a lineup anchored by Target and featuring a popular line-up of retailers, services, restaurants and other uses including On The Border, Chili’s, Anytime Fitness, State Farm, Verizon Wireless, Car Toys, Cato, Monarch Dental and many others.
Irving Towne Center recently completd a renovation that upgraded signature elements of the center’s façade, along with a new color scheme, and added new signage, landscaping, parking and lighting to the center. The center’s new lifestyle elements include seating, arbors, green space and other pedestrian-friendly enhancements, notes Weitzman Senior Vice President of Asset Management, Jennifer Chandler.
