SAN ANTONIO— Robert L. “Robbie” King, one of the most experienced retail brokerage professionals working in the metro-area market, has joined the San Antonio office of Weitzman as a senior vice president.
In this position, King handles retail project leasing and retail tenant representation, as well as general brokerage, in the San Antonio area. Prior to joining Weitzman, King’s experience in the San Antonio market included directing the operations of Paige Investments, a firm he founded in 2006 that acted as a preferred developer for a roster of tenants including Dollar General, Starbucks and AT&T. He also has experience with HPI Real Estate Services & Investments and United Commercial Realty, where he worked on development and leasing for well-known projects such as The Forum at Olympia Parkway, Park North Shopping Center and City Base Landing.
King is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, Texas A&M 12th Man Foundation, Texas A&M Alumni Association and the San Antonio Texas A&M Club, which encourages A&M graduates to join the San Antonio job market.
King received a Bachelor of Science in Political Science, with a minor in Business Management, from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.
