BOERNE—Ramey Mainstreet, LLC, a locally based investor, has purchased a landmark two-story building located at 152-170 South Main Street in Boerne's historic downtown. The building incorporates a total of 15,300 square feet on .36 acres in the “golden triangle” of historic Main St., with 12,000 square feet of street-level retail space and 3,300 square feet of second-level space operated as a high-end boutique hotel.
Charlie Riddle with Weitzman handled negotiations.
The new ownership plans to continue the operation of the property's second-level boutique hotel, The William. The William offers travelers views of downtown Boerne from newly renovated suites with meticulous attention to detail.
The street-level retail is fully occupied with three specialty concepts, including Cypress Grille, a chef-driven New American restaurant; The Alley on Main, an eclectic boutique with unique finds in women's apparel and home decor; and Jac's Personal Touch, an interior design and specialty home goods retailer.
Downtown Boerne, offering a beautiful Hill Country setting yet just minutes from San Antonio, reflects the town's heritage of being founded by German immigrants more than 150 years ago. Today, more than 140 historic structures remain, making the location a popular destination.
