AUSTIN—Weitzman has negotiated three new retail leases ats The Grove at Shoal Creek, a major mixed-use project at the southeast corner of 45th Street and Bull Creek, adding to the growing retail lineup at the new project.
The new concepts at The Grove are:
• LOVE Cycling Studio, a popular Austin-based indoor cycling studio with Texas’ only music video wall, which leased 4,500 square feet for the relocation of its studio from downtown Austin;
• Mirror Mirror, a clean beauty salon stocking and using products that are healthier for customers, stylists and the environment, which leased 3,066 square feet. Mirror Mirror is relocating from Burnet Road;
• HALINA Spa, which offers an elevated experience for body and mind with its professionally trained aestheticians, nail technicians, and licensed massage therapists, which leased 2,800 square feet. HALINA is relocating Burnet Road.
Matt Epple, Britt Morrison and Brett Maze with Weitzman handled negotiations as retail leasing agents for The Grove. Bryan McMurrey with CBRE represented the cycling studio.
LOVE Cycling Studio is relocating to The Grove from its longtime location at 900 Pressler Street at 5th Street. The location provides the studio with a location in a walkable environment in the midst of a dense residential and commercial project. Upon completion, The Grove upon completion will incorporate approximately 140,000 square feet of retail space.
“The strength of The Grove can be seen in these relocations from some of the densest, most popular trade areas in Austin,” Morrison said. “In addition, Weitzman will soon announce leases for new locations at The Grove for some of Austin’s best restaurants, adding to the already strong lineup being put in place here.”.
LOVE Cycling Studio, Mirror Mirror and HALINA join street-level retail at The Grove that features a lineup including, Market at the Grove and other concepts.
The Grove offers easy access to MOPAC, the Burnet and Lamar corridors and more, will upon completion feature approximately 1,550 residential units that include single-family homes, townhomes, condominiums and apartments. The Grove also includes 185,000 square feet of Class A office space leased to key companies like Auctane LLC, a firm that operates several e-commerce shipping software brands including ShipStation. At the Grove, ShipStation occupies more than 105,000 square feet.
The Grove’s developer is ARG Bull Creek Ltd., a joint venture between MileStone Community Builders, for the residential portion, and Castletop Capital, which is handling the mixed-use portion of The Grove.
