GRAPEVINE— Weitzman’s management division has completed a major renovation at Grapevine Towne Center, an approximately 500,000-square-foot regional-draw development located on SH-114 between William D. Tate and SH-26. The center, anchored by Target, features a wide array of national retailers including Ross, Office Depot, Bealls, Big Lots, Jason’s Deli, eatZi’s, Haltom’s Jewelers, Merle Norman, a new CJ’s Southern Kitchen and several others.
The renovation ‘life-styled’ the center with an updated façade with a lighter and brighter paint scheme, along with pedestrian-friendly elements like green space, seating, arbors and other enhancements. The goal of the renovation is to keep the landmark center as relevant and convenient for shoppers as it was the day it opened.
When Grapevine Towne Center opened more than two decades ago, it was the first power center and, at the time, the largest retail center in the growing Grapevine market.
“By adding modern lifestyle elements and pedestrian-friendly features, Grapevine Towne Center’s next two decades promise to be as strong as its first two,” said Weitzman’s Jennifer Chandler, asset manager for the center
As part of a shopper-focused renovation package, Weitzman has rolled out an updated shopping center website, as well as a full digital marketing package that includes social media pages, location-enabled retailer outreach programs and promotions.
Jennifer Chandler directed the renovation on behalf of the center’s ownership, and Weitzman’s Kathy Detrick oversaw construction.
The architect for the remodel is Hodges & Associates. Weitzman’s brokerage division team of Lynn Van Amburgh and Lauren Danemiller direct leasing at Grapevine Towne Center. Weitzman handles property management for the center.
