DALLAS— Dan Bergeron, CPA, a real estate accounting professional with more than 20 years of experience, has joined Weitzman as Controller working with the commercial real estate services firm’s statewide operations.
As controller, Bergeron is responsible for all property accounting for Weitzman-owned and third-party managed assets. His oversight extends across treasury functions, financial reporting, assistance with tax preparation, partnership compliance, debt service management, and accounting systems maintenance and improvements. Bergeron manages a team of approximately 30 accounting professionals. .
Prior to joining Weitzman, Bergeron was property controller for Dallas-based property manager Triglild. He also has experience with Transwestern and CBRE.
Bergeron received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. He holds the Certified Public Accountant designation.
