DALLAS— Matthew Rosenfeld has been promoted to Executive Vice President - Director of Brokerage in Dallas-Fort Worth for Weitzman, one of the largest retail-focused commercial real estate services firms based in Texas.
Rosenfeld will oversee the activities of Weitzman’s D-FW brokerage team, with a focus on client service, new listings and lease and sale transactions. His role will be supported and complemented by Weitzman’s Executive Managing Director, Bob Young, whose business development focus will remain on enhancing the Weitzman brand and growing market share by extending the firm's reach and presence with clients, prospects and the overall industry at large.
As Executive Vice President with Weitzman, Rosenfeld will continue to specialize in retail tenant representation, land sales, building disposition and investment sales in the D-FW area. His areas of focus include the urban core, where he works on mixed-use and retail redevelopment projects, in addition to representing retailer and restaurant clients.

Prior to joining Weitzman, Rosenfeld was a professional golfer. During that time, he competed on the PGA Tour, Web.com Tour, European Tour and Asian Tour. His most notable achievement was winning the U.S. Junior Amateur Championship.
Rosenfeld is currently a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and has just recently been nominated to the prestigious ICSC Next Gen Leadership Network, which is comprised of 65 real estate professionals throughout the country. He is also a part of the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors, and previously served as a board member for Young Texans Against Cancer. He has been recognized as one of Weitzman's statewide top producers for the past several years (2016 – 2020) and is currently ranked as a Power Broker by D CEO Magazine. Additionally, national publication Connect Media has recognized him as one of the Top 10 Brokers in Texas.
Rosenfeld received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Red McCombs Business School at the University of Texas at Austin. He was an academic All-American scholar in addition to being a 3-time All-American on the UT Men’s Golf team.
