Professional Background
Randy Lauseng, C.S.M, is Senior Vice President and Director of Property Management for the Houston office of Weitzman. Lauseng is responsible for day-to-day supervision of Weitzman’s Houston commercial property portfolio, which incorporates 3.1 million square feet of retail space in 26 shopping centers. Lauseng has more than 30 years of experience in all phases of retail property management and operations for both non-mall and mall properties. Prior to being named Director of Property Management, Lauseng was chief operating officer for Arizona Partners Real Estate Investment Group, LLC, where he was responsible for a 2.5-million-square-foot commercial real estate portfolio. His experience also includes service as senior vice president and head of property management for Houston-based Equity One Realty and Management, Inc., where he was responsible for a portfolio of 35 predominantly grocery-anchored community centers, and at Prime Retail of Maryland, where he handled operations for 52 upscale factory outlet centers. He entered the real estate management field in 1978 as director of mall management and marketing for Developers Diversified, overseeing nine malls in a six-state region.

Lauseng earned the Certified Shopping Center Manager (C.S.M.) designation awarded by the International Council of Shopping Centers to those managers who excel at retail property management and who meet strict standards of education and experience.

Lauseng received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota.
