Professional Background
William "Bill" Bloomfield, a commercial retail construction professional with more than 20 years of experience, is Vice President of Construction for the Houston office of Weitzman. In this position, Bloomfield oversees construction project management services for Weitzman in Houston and handles development-related functions for the company, from start-up through completion. In addition, he oversees all tenant finish-out in the firm's Houston portfolio.
Prior to joining Weitzman, Bloomfield was Senior Vice President of Construction for U.S. Builders, L.P., where he handled construction management for projects ranging from $250,000 to $10 million. He also worked in a construction and construction management position for Stage Stores, previously Palais Royal, where he managed construction for all new Stage Stores affiliates in the nation, handled finish-out and directed remodels of existing stores. For Stage Stores nationwide, he worked with Bealls, Palais Royal, Almon’s and several other retail/department store concepts.
