AUSTIN—Smoothie King, offering custom-blended smoothies with real fruit, pure juices and nutritional supplements, has leased 1,159 square feet of retail space in Southpark Meadows, a regional-draw shopping center located at 9500 South IH-35, for a new location.
Britt Morrison and Brett Maze with Weitzman handled negotiations for the center. Casey Kopecky with Ironwood Commercial Brokerage, LP, represented Smoothie King.
At Southpark Meadows, Austin’s largest power center, Smoothie King joins a line-up that includes JCPenney, SuperTarget, Walmart, Best Buy, PetSmart, Ross Dress for Less, Waterloo Ice House, Amy’s Ice Cream and many others.
Smoothie King, the originator of the fresh-blended nutritional smoothie, started in 1973 in New Orleans and today has stores worldwide.
